Reviews and sponsorships on Darkside Overland are a great way of gaining exposure to our 10,000+ subscriber base and are available on a strictly limited basis. We are located in sunny North Carolina, however our exact location is kept private and I can’t do meet and greets sorry.

Running Darkside Overland is a part ime job and each opportunity is discussed on a case by case basis.

How did you first get into vehicle based camping? What did you find interesting about this hobby?

As our son reach middle school, having a way to have him experience the outdoors, learn how to fish, camp, and work on vehicles were at the front of our mind to keep him out of video games and have another way to “not be bored” That turned to what Darkside Overland is today.

Can you recommend a truck, trailer, camper for me?

We can discuss based on our experiences, as everyone has different needs, and our opinion is ours. Always keep that in mind.

What advice can you give to someone who wants to get into Overlanding?

Think about what you really want to accomplish. A $85,000 build is a LOT of hotel nights and rental cars. Plus, do you have the space to store your gear, vehicle, or trailer? Think about all the items you will have to supplement your vehicle to eat, sleep, cook, shower, and be safe.
